Born in England in 1976; after an uneventful childhood I embarked on a career in the British Army. As an Infantry Soldier I learnt to run up big hills, dig holes and drink my own body weight in beer. In 1998 the Military very kindly taught me Photography before sending me to Belfast in Northern Ireland for two years to get some practice. Having reached the dizzy heights of Corporal in the Army I decided on a career change and left. Initially I explored the avenues of truck driving, removals and sitting behind a desk, eventually realising that I was unable to get a proper job I decided to become a freelance photographer. Covering a diverse range of subjects in travel, landscape, nature and journalism, I shoot mainly for stock and commission based work. Now working from Banja Luka deep in the Former Yugoslavia I am able to exploit the wonderful landscape and rich culture of this region through photography. My location also provides an ideal launch pad for photographic trips to other European Countries. My life as a freelance allows me to travel and experience different cultures, it is a lifestyle I enjoy immensely.
