In the Balkans many of our media outlets find it almost impossible to report anything objectively or with any regard to so called “western” or “democratic” values. These regional media will always disagree. but we all know that they should be “waking up and smelling the coffee”.

Teachers and teaching staff, especially in the Balkans (and I have to admit I am being very generic here) display an attitude of aloofness, at times arrogance and more often than not of total superiority over their students. And why? Because they are qualified to (dubious) degree status and in previous times (under former regimes) were people of some standing in the community.
